GCII Free Food Pantry

As part of our ministry mandate, free food are collected from donors and kept in our pantry, which are in turn distributed to our community as one of our ways of demonstrating the love of Christ to humanity. This is in a way keying into Christ’s model of holistic ministry. Jesus Christ implored a holistic approach to ministry by meeting the physical needs of the people as much as He met their spiritual needs. On different occasions Jesus fed the hungry with bread and fish.

WHAT WE DO THERE

At GCII Free Food Pantry, we express our love towards our community by giving out free food items to struggling families.

Our free food pantry is in a way, a continuation of the activity of the early church where believers shared things in common, fellowshipped together in breaking of bread. We are indiscriminative in the food distribution since we believe that in Christ, we are one body.

DATE, TIME AND VENUE

Our Community Food Pantry takes place on the last Saturday of every month from 9:00am to 12: 00pm at the Family Life Center.

Donated items may be dropped off in the collection barrels inside the church close to the main entrances. God bless you for your donation and compassion.
